El 20 de enero de hace 443 años se fundó la Villa de San Sebastián, comunidad que después se transformó en Concordia, cabeza del municipio del mismo nombre, cuna de tradiciones e industrias como la alfarería y la mueblería.
La fiesta de aniversario ya inició desde la semana pasada y ha ido subiendo de emoción conforme se acerca la fecha principal, que es este domingo 20 de enero, cuando habrá diferentes eventos, tanto religiosos como culturales y de diversión.
Será este día cuando se cierren las misas de novenario en honor a San Sebastián, momento que servirá para presentar castillos de juegos pirotécnicos.
Al mismo tiempo, en el Estadio Ignacio Brito, habrá noche de banda con El Coyote y Julión Álvarez. Además de los juegos mecánicos que tradicionalmente se instalan en el lugar.
Visite Concordia y tendrá la oportunidad de vivir el orgullo que llena a los habitantes de la antigua Villa de San Sebastián.

Celebrating 443 years of honoring Saint Sebastian

The town of Villa de San Sebastian, which later became known as Concordia, was founded on January 20th, 443 years ago. Concordia is the government seat of the eponymous municipality and is the cradle of tradition and industries like pottery and furniture.
The party already began a week ago and the emotion has been rising as the main date of January 20th gets closer. On that day there will be different religious and diversion events. They will close the novena masses in honor of Saint Sebastian and they launch fireworks.
At the same time in Ignacio Brito Stadium there will be a night of Banda music with El Coyote and Julion Alvarez, in addition to the rides that are traditionally installed in the place.
